In 2011 when traveling frequently between Nice and Copenhagen this sunchair was born. The chair is a section of Öresund bridge viewed obliquely from above. Just before landing in Copenhagen the plane swings over the Öresund Bridge that links Denmark to Sweden. I quickly sketched the shape and created a chair of the main elements. Inspired by functionalism and Bruno Mathsson's work with the perfect seating curve, I developed a chair where I angled the classic 90 degree incli- nation of a traditional chair to130 degrees for more comfort.
