in- & outdoor living

The Collection

Handmade quality in & outdoor furniture of natural materials that last.
C / RO's design-id consists of thin elegant lines with generous forms. Inspired partly by work travel through the years, architecture and by design icons. Strong personalities and pioneers of functionalism; Eileen Gray, Coco Chanel, Picasso and Le Corbusier, who appeared in the first part of the 1900s. The design is also influenced by fashion, the collection contains additional accessories so that you can dress furniture and complement them so they fit comfortably inside or outside-  just as we humans do.

SUnDaybed. ETÉ

Sundaybed is influenced by travels and work assignments to Japan in 2006 and 2007. The impression should be as light and airy as a line in the air, a piece of furniture made for meditation and daydreaming. It is inspired by Le Corbusier's architecture and his play between round shapes and floating architecture resting on pillars. The back is a form of support to the pillows so it can also be used as a sofa.

MATERIAL: Galvanized powder coated metal. Mattress in canvas, textiles from SUNBRELLA. COLOUR: White / Light Grey

This table was originally born as a stool in 2011 during trips between Nice and Copenhagen. With a passion for the French macarons an airy pedestal / crown as a homage to this sweet was built. The first piece was manufactured in wood on show at an art exhibition in 2011, where it received a good response. Since then it has been on the to-do list to develop it for the outdoor environment.

MATERIAL: Stainless steel.

Small table

In 2011 when traveling frequently between Nice and Copenhagen this sunchair was born. The chair is a section of Öresund bridge viewed obliquely from above. Just before landing in Copenhagen the plane swings over the Öresund Bridge that links Denmark to Sweden. I quickly sketched the shape and created a chair of the main elements. Inspired by functionalism and Bruno Mathsson's work with the perfect seating curve, I developed a chair where I angled the classic 90 degree inclination of a traditional chair to130 degrees for more comfort.

MATERIAL: Stainless steel. SUNBRELLA white fabric and optional leather pillow.

The chair is designed with the inspiration from VILLA E1027 by Eileen Gray. I was missing a chair on the market that was simple and discreet - in canvas but where one could replace the fabric and dress the chair in leather with the arrival of the fall.

MATERIAL: Stainless steel. Leather and back of canvas is optional. SUNBRELLA fabric.

DINING table. RO

The shape should feel light and infinite with a never ending curve. The tabletop is hovering lightly over the legs. The top is available in glass and freckled printed glass, sun kissed some might say. The inspiration started with the story of the icon Coco Chanel, playing with straight lines and endless curves that materialized into this solid piece.

MATERIAL: Galvanized powder coated metal. Glass / printed glas. COLOUR: White

The lounge sofa, was developed from the SUNDAYBED. A simplified smaller version perfect for morning coffee in the sun. The impression should be light and airy and act as a two-man lounge sofa or just a bench. The sofa can be used in public spaces, cafés as well as your hallway.

MATERIAL: Galvanized powder coated metal. Mattress in canvas, textiles from SUNBRELLA. Mattress will also be available in leather. COLOUR: White / Storm Blue / Powder Pink

The vision is that these products will make you feel like you’re gazing out at the Mediterrenean, with a drink in your hand, at one with the sea and not a rainy day in sight.
